Author: Al Philipson
A slow start, but worth the wait. A great view of ancient Scotland and the Pict's culture along with a good yarn. Will especially appeal to Christian readers.

Brother Brude is a complex character. I found myself rooting for him from the start.

I learned a lot about the ancient Picts while enjoying a good "read".
