Where To Buy:

A dishonored spy who just wants to go home, a village girl who wants to be a soldier, a disgraced ex-president who wants his power back, a newly-minted army private who makes it into the elite 14th Star Infantry, and a manipulative trillionaire all come together in this exciting interstellar political thriller.

Military science fiction adventure as only John Bowers can tell it.

Don’t miss this thrilling sequel to Starport.

Two years after Carlene Vargas boarded a starship to avoid prosecution for murder, the drama continues. Guerilla Girl, the sequel to Starport, takes place on the neighboring planet of Tropicon.

Terra Lafirma, a native girl from the hill country of Casamanilla Province, wants to join the local regiment to fight the evil Askelonis. She has been taught all her life that Askelon, the most powerful world in the Trimary System, is responsible for exploiting her planet and stealing its resources.

Back on Askelon, Tyler Unruh has graduated high school and joined the army. Two years of hard training have qualified him to join 14th Star Infantry, the “elitest outfit in the whole damned army”.

And trillionaire Jorge Sorres, the richest man in the galaxy, orchestrates the next move in his favorite game—pulling the strings of power to bring Askelon to its knees.

Author: Mary Elizabeth Fricke
Terra is sixteen when she escapes a dismal home life to join the Guerrilla Army of Campetena. All of her life she has been taught the people from the planet Askelon (who over centuries have acquired the majority control over her home planet, Tropicon) are evil and untrustworthy. She is unaware the army she seeks to join is run largely by mercenaries (many of whom have been exiled from Askelon) or that most of the tales she has heard about Askelon were pure propaganda intended to cause the people of Tropicon to despise the people of Askelon. And then, she actually becomes part of the Army of Campetana (as kitchen help) and is thrown into the midst of the guerilla war.

Between the innocent and the Guerilla Army and the terrorist tactics of the richest man on Environ and then the American-like Army of Askelon come to rescue and restore peace, one becomes lost in the espionage, the intrigue and the rampages of open war. It seems that even far into the future no one is safe…nor trustworthy…and the innocent learn the most difficult lessons of all.
